I moved to Bromley in February 2020, just ahead of the lockdowns, and while I may not have lived in the borough all my life, it is definitely where I call home. The community and people have truly made me welcome and I would love to serve as a councillor.
While I have not always lived in Bromley, I have always been involved in my local community. While at University I organised regular food bank collections and instituted a permanent ‘donation station’ in the Student’s Union. I have also previously worked with a variety of charitable organisations, and volunteered to help rehabilitate unwanted and feral cats.
As a Caseworker, my day job includes supporting vulnerable people with housing and benefits applications, therefore I am already familiar with much of the casework taken up by councillors and will be able to respond swiftly to resident concerns.
